I believe that all the practices have been and are
beneficial to any individual seeking calmness and a balance in his/her life. The two that have been most beneficial to me
is the Loving Kindness and the Meditation practices.
The Loving Kindness helps me when my feeling and thoughts go
astray. Being the person I am
(Positive), my thoughts do go astray sometimes, but then I overcome this by
developing the skills to deal with them (Negative thoughts). This exercise helps me be free and heal my
mind when troubled. However, I like to
reach out and embrace others in time of their need. I also have learned to exhibit a lot of
compassion and helped others cross the other side of the “river” or see the “glass
have full”. Over time, I have witnessed
the Loving Kindness exercise has continuously brought me feelings of happiness
and fulfillment.
The Meditation exercise has benefitted me tremendously. It gives me a piece of mind, feeling
revitalized, energized and calm. I
practice this exercise frequently before bedtime for relaxation and inner peace. In addition, this practice has also helped me
overcome stressful situations, and has increased self-awareness. I often recommend this exercise to my close
friends and family explaining how this simple but realistic practice can
benefit them in so many positive ways.
I am glad to hear that your experiences with meditation have been so helpful and positive for you. It is a very compassionate thing to extend yourself out to others and help them be more positive, and I commend you for that. Good luck with your endeavors in the future!
ReplyDeleteIt is very easy for the mind to go astray. The loving-kindness exercise is a great way to bring back positive thoughts about the person you are having negative enegiries towards. I know that I will always use the practice because it makes me a more positive person and when you are happy you give off happy vibes to others.
ReplyDeleteIt's good to hear you had such a positive response to mediation. It will be a good asset to you if you ever need to mentor or your career calls for you to convience a person to try it coming from your own personal account.

Hello Edmond,
ReplyDeleteI truly feel as though all of us have a positive inner peace that is there if we choose to see it. Exercises like this open our eyes which allow us to become a better person. When we act optimistically, it definitely influences others around us which makes it become sort of like a domino effect. With that being said, we are not only helping ourselves become healthy, but everyone around us as well. Keep up the great attitude and always remember that phrase because it is straight up truth.
